“ We were in the area yesterday and we stopped in for lunch. This location is close by the 7th street casino. Parking is nonexistent. Make sure you obey the signs because they were citing cars. We've been here before as part of the taco tour that they do in KC. I ordered the taco lunch platter. My tacos Al pastor were delicious. The beans and rice were good. The horchata was tasty. My mom had a sope de rajas which she really enjoyed. Coming from Mexican mom who hates to eat out it was a huge compliment. My husband had carne asada and longaniza tacos. He preferred the longaniza. The salsa they give you really good. I love that they serve all the toppings on the side. The servers and cooks were friendly. This place is super casual. If you come mid day you'll see a ton of construction workers picking up their orders. We will be back for the homemade tortillas. ”

I've been to Mexico several times and the flavors of the entrees here bring me back to authentic meals on a dusty street south of the border. fair warning, the salsa they give you with the chips is fairly hot. The soft shells they make the tacos with are fresh. I actually saw the kitchen staff roll them out to make our tacos. Nothing but fresh ingredients to make something simple like a steak taco absolutely fresh. ”
